History of CMCM UK
Christ Miracle Church Mission (CMCM) Worldwide was founded by Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi in 1989, in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. The inaugural meeting was first held in a garage, subsequently moving to Oke-Ijebu in Akure, now the National Headquarters.
Under the leadership of God, Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi was led to expand the church to Lagos. The first gathering was a powerful Night Vigil, held on January 28th 1995 which saw many lives being touched by the power of God. This encouraged the church to evolve the Night Vigil into monthly Night Vigils. The Lagos branch was then established on the 27th September 1996, in a rented hall along Oregun Road, Lagos. As the congregation grew larger, the church moved to our International Headquarters at Akiode, Ikeja, Lagos, on March 2000. To the glory of God, other branches have now continued to spring up across the world, including Christ Miracle Church Mission UK (CMCM UK).
CMCM UK was established through our first Night Vigil, on October 26th 2012 at The Hub, Star Lane, Canning Town. The church officially started with our inauguration on September 8th 2013 by God’s servant and the President of the Ministry, Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi.
With dreams of being a Human Rights Lawyer, Prophet Abiola studied at the Oyo State College of Art and Science (OSCAS) now called the School of Science, in Ile-Ife, Osun State. He was a rascal at school and loved playing football, thus, nicknamed “Algeria”. Although not being aware of his calling, Prophet Abiola had shown an inclination to seeing and sharing future prophecies on the lives of others. His visions, which came true, were clear with providing specific details regarding how and when the prophecies would happen.
In the year 1987, Prophet Abiola encountered the hand of the Almighty God and was called into ministry. Whilst in the midst of friends, he saw heaven open and fire descend upon him. He heard the voice of God who spoke clearly saying, “I have given you the power of Peter”. Prophet Abiola suddenly lost his eyesight and was rendered incapacitated for a short period of time. He gave his life to Christ in the course of this travail, at age 24, when God began to communicate with him regarding his calling and the ministry he had set in his hand for deliverance, salvation and transformation of lives. After regaining his eyesight, the young Prophet devoted himself to prayer and fasting whilst declaring the power of God.
After spending some time in Ile-fe, the young Prophet was led by God to Akure and was received into the residence of Mrs Adegbola where he started God’s ministry, Christ Miracle Church Mission, on March 13th 1989. After building the ministry to an enviable status in Akure for over eight years, he was instructed by God to leave all he had in Akure and head to Lagos.
Today, the church has grown worldwide, with numerous branches within and outside of Africa with various subdivisions including, Champion of Fire Television (CFTV), Champion of Fire Bible Institute, Youth for Christ and CMCM Radio.

Pastor Mrs Folasade Adebisi
Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi is married to his beloved wife, a powerful woman of God, Pastor (Mrs) Folasade Olatunbosun Adebisi (Mama).
The couple were married in 1996 and are blessed with children. Pastor Folasade is a virtuous woman of God, devoted wife, caring mother, sister and diligent friend, not only to her biological children but to all her sons and daughters in the Lord. She is a loving, kind and generous woman, who opens her door to all, with a heart to listen. Mama oversees the Global branches of CMCM across the World and has gained much respect as she has been instrumental to the growth and development of the church.
She has selflessly devoted her life to supporting the work of God and the God given vision instructed to her husband Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi, thus making it her mission to share the power of God to over 168 countries across the world.
Christ Miracle Church Mission UK has grown tremendously since our inauguration with the introduction of our Youth department, Bible study, Prayer Nights, Conventions and Workshops. CMCM UK has transformed many lives through our passion towards developing our members, evangelism and charity work.
